Simply put, my internship at Madison Automotive Apprentices is one of the coolest experiences I have ever had. I transferred to JMU during my sophomore year and was accepted to be the first marketing intern at Madison Automotive Apprentices. Madison Automotive is a vintage Porsche restoration shop located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. During my time there, I have driven engagement through content creation for our social media pages, crafted impactful monthly newsletters, and produced compelling blog posts that resonate with our target audience. Through my experience I have gained the skills of event planning, teamwork and relational skills, leadership, organizational, time management skills, and social media management skills.

Madison Motorsports was the first club that I joined at JMU. It's a club that's centered around cars and community. We'll go to either Summit Point Raceway or Virginia International Raceway at least once a semester. During the meantime, we have "deck meets," which are car meetups at the JMU parking decks every other week. Occasionally, we'll also do off-roading treks and car cruises throughout the valley. I've made a lot of great friends in this club, and I am so thankful that we have a group like this at JMU. It gets better and better every year.

If you asked me in high school what I thought I would be doing in college, Latin dance would be the last thing to cross my mind! Before joining, I had never danced before. I joined the JMU Latin Dance club during my sophomore year. I am now the Event Coordinator for the club. I'm in charge of all of our club collaborations. One of my favorite collabs was with the JMU Break Dance club. I've met so many amazing people through this club, and I'm glad to see how much it's grown over the years.
